Do you have a leggy Dracaena aroud the house? Dracaena propagation is very easy to accomplish successfully. First if the dranceana you are using for a stock plant is leggy, you can cut the top off right above where you want it to leaf back out and start growing again.

You can cut the base of the piece you just removed at a 45 degree angle and place it in well drained soil. If you have some root hormone, dip it in the powder before sticking the cutting. If there are several leaves, you should remove 1/3 of the leaves.

Another option is to cut the stem into several pieces for multiple plants. You can lay the pieces horizontally in a pot with the bottom half of the piece in the soil. The piece will root at the buried nodes, and shoots will emerge from the above soil nodes. Be sure you have at least two nodes on each piece.

The pieces should start to root in a couple of weeks. If you have a warm place you could set the pot, like on top of a refrigerator, radiator, etc the bottom heat will speed the rooting.
